A 4 day AIM3 Assessment & AIM Intervention training course This 4 day course is targeted at professionals from Social Care, Youth Offending and Specialist providers, who should already have a basic understanding of harmful sexual behaviours, gained either through relevant practice experience or training and must also have practice experience of complex assessment work and/or experience in working with young people presenting with problematic or harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). The course includes a competency test. An approval certificate (valid for 3 years) will be awarded on successful completion. Cost £239 per person includes the AIM3 Workbook. You may also need to order an additional manual for the Intervention module if your service does not have a copy. See further information on the Booking Form.
Safety Building for Children, Victims and Communities. (In Person. Full Day)

The course will cover • how safety building approaches fit within the context of Child First and Trauma Informed Practice • how they differ from Risk Management approaches • safety concerns that can arise for children, victims and the community • effective interventions in YJS for building safety for each of the three groups • identifying gaps in provision and potential partners to support safety building. • effective, child friendly methods for co-producing safety plans with young people.
