Coaching for Managers (Full day. In person)

An introductory course to understand the specific needs of girls and young women who are affected by violence and exploitation including criminal and sexual exploitation. The course aims to increase understanding and awareness of girls and young women’s experiences, explore how young women’s experience of harm in may be overlooked, misunderstood and/or impacted by victim, blaming, stereotyping and bias. provide guidance on identifying, responding to and supporting young women, Increase confidence in applying learning in practice. Analytical Report writing (Full day, in person)

A practical one day course for Practitioners. The course will cover understanding what quality report writing is, reviewing best practice principles of analysis, understanding sentencing guidelines on harm and culpability, balancing offence analysis with a child first report, opportunities to practice report writing skills. A 4 day AIM3 Assessment & AIM Intervention training course This 4 day course is targeted at professionals from Social Care, Youth Offending and Specialist providers, who should already have a basic understanding of harmful sexual behaviours, gained either through relevant practice experience or training and must also have practice experience of complex assessment work and/or experience in working with young people presenting with problematic or harmful sexual behaviours (HSB). The course includes a competency test. An approval certificate (valid for 3 years) will be awarded on successful completion. Cost £239 per person includes the AIM3 Workbook. You may also need to order an additional manual for the Intervention module if your service does not have a copy. See further information on the Booking Form.
