The course will explore

• how intelligence can be gathered and used to map gang activity
• use of the internet and social media platforms
• legal, risk and safeguarding issues
• how to capture, share and use information appropriately
• setting up staff roles, equipment and protocols
• how a young person’s actions in the virtual world can lead to serious consequences in the real world
